Tarjeta de flamencos con corazón en negativo

Hoy os muestro una tarjeta que estaba deseando hacer desde que me compré los sellos (el mismísimo día que los pusieron a la venta en España), pero nunca veía el momento. Pero ayer (POR FIN) pude estrenar este set de Lawn Fawn (Flamingo Together) que tanto me gusta. Y es que sí, adoro los flamencos: me encantan desde que soy niña, así que ahora estoy encantada conque estén tan de moda ya que los veo por todos sitios y me pongo tan contenta. ¿Conocéis ese olor del set de sellos sin estrenar? A mi me gusta muchísimo, es como el olor de los libros nuevos o los bebés recién nacidos que en seguida se pierde y hay que disfrutarlo…

He de reconocer que la tarjeta en un principio iba a tener otra estructura. Pensé en el corazón en tonos dorados sobre fondo blanco y los flamencos encima. Pero una vez troquelado vi que quedaba mucho más bonito en negativo, así que guardé el corazón para otro momento y me quedé simplemente con la silueta.

Para hacer el panel de fondo usé 3 tintas distress (Wild Honey, Picked Raspberry y Abandoned Coral, de abajo a arriba respectivamente) y cuando aún estaban húmedas apliqué con un pincel polvos de Perfect Pearls en el tono Gold, para dar un acabado dorado que me parecía más veraniego según me inspiraron los flamencos (aunque no se aprecia bien en la foto, es realmente bonito el acabado que ha quedado tan doradito)

Troquelé este panel con el corazón grande de los troqueles Stitched Heart Stackables también de Lawn Fawn.

Los flamencos los estampé con la tinta Memento en el tono Tuxedo Black y los coloreé con los rotuladores Zig Clean Color Real Brush  (tonos 010, 025 y 026) y los troquelé (¡menos mal que no tuve que recortarlos!) con el set de troqueles de Lawn Fawn que complementa al sello.

Monté la tarjeta en un cardstock blanco de Neenah de 110 lb y estampé con la tinta negra de Versafine el sentimiento de la tarjeta.
