Reto mayo Locas por el scrap: FLORES

Hoy os traigo una tarjeta con flores para presentarla al reto tarjetero de mayo de Locas por el Scrap. He querido hacer una tarjeta distinta a las típicas de flores, espero que os guste.

Por el día de la madre me regalaron un curso online de tarjetas que imparten Jennifer Mcguire y Kristina Werner mis dos cardmakers favoritas, junto con algunas artistas más. En este caso se trata del curso Sparkle & Shine en el que enseñan técnicas distintas con todo tipo de materiales para dar brillo a nuestras tarjetas.

En uno de los días del curso he aprendido esta técnica de Debby Hughes en la que usa Perfect Pearls. Me encanta ese efecto perlado que da a las tarjetas; aunque los hay de todos los tonos imaginables, a mí siempre me gusta usar el básico o el dorado.

Es una pena que en las fotos no se aprecie bien el brillo de la tarjeta, aunque intento mostrarla en todas las posiciones posibles:

En primer lugar, he usado sobre un cardstock rosa un sello de fondo de My Favorite Things que se llama Floral Fantasy Background. Se estampa con tinta de embossing y directamente se aplica con un pincel los Perfect Pearls:

Para las flores, he escogido un sello de Simon Says Stamp que se llama Hydrangea Blooms  que tiene tanto la flor como el relleno. Sobre una hoja de vellum, lo he estampado una primera vez para aplicar polvos de embossing en blanco y una segunda vez con el sello del relleno solamente con la tinta de embossing para aplicar directamente los perfect pearls con un pincel:

He añadido a las flores unas hojas del set de sellos también de Simon Says Stamp (Handwritten floral greetings). Como en este caso no tiene sello de relleno, he estampado las flores directamente sobre el vellum para usar embossing blanco y después he ido mojando el dedo en tinta y rellenando las hojas para por último esparcir los perfect pearls con el pincel de igual manera que hice con las flores.

He usado de base de tarjeta un cardstock blanco y el sentimiento lo he hecho también con embossing en color rosa.

El resultado es una tarjeta brillante pero elegante, aunque no se aprecie bien en las fotos. Me ha encantado aprender esta nueva técnica con las perfect pearls que espero usar muchas veces más. Espero que os haya gustado también la tarjeta.
